2-3 lessons worth of work on Unit 1 LO6 Understanding External Influences. The lessons focus on understanding the different external factors that affect businesses, breaking down each factor in accordance to the specification. It is based on a cut and stick activity as each factor is in a lot of detail and encourages the students to read and interact with the content which can lead to class discussion especially when factors are not understood. The activity also ties in LO5 where students are looking how the factors impact the business and stakeholders as well with a red and green pen activity. This includes: Presentation Cut and stick sheets for each external factor Outline/ platform sheets- I've done these on A4, but A3 versions would be better and could make the lesson more interactive End of topic test

Rewards in Business: Profit and Loss Card

A useful rewards and sanctions card to help students stay motivated whilst tying in an important Business Studies topic. Especially useful for difficult students to make them participate. I have used this termly and at the end of each term, the student with the most profit has been given a £5-£10 voucher for a shop of their choice.
